Medialon has been recently installed in “L’Auditori”, a
42,000sqm auditorium designed by the architect Rafael
Moneo in Barcelona, Spain.
“L’Auditori” includes three auditorium halls, a museum
as well as a music academy. A fourth hall will open
within few months.
With more than a thousand events made last year, the
auditorium has decided to invest in a modern control
system to ease and reinforce the technical staff.
The Medialon Show and Media Control system has been
installed by Kontrolcla Show Control company in the
auditorium’s halls.
One Medialon Manager Pro license, integrated in a
Medialon Show Control Machine Pro, is used for the Stage
Managers to control all the audio paging system and
service lighting.
One Soundman Server Virtual Sound System from Richmond
Sound Design, one MediaMatrix from Peavey, eight DMX512
transceivers and one KissBox I/O box are connected with
Medialon Manager via TCP/IP across the new optic fiber
building network.
Medialon Manager Panel free user interface design
software also helps to easily deploy multiple control
interfaces over the auditorium network via eight user
PCs with touch screens. Stage Managers and technicians
of the auditorium can check the audio and lighting
distribution status anytime in each hall of the
auditorium.
“Medialon Manager offers a huge potential”, says Joan
Anton Llarch, director of Kontrolcla Show Control
company. “Medialon Manager’s infinite capability of
enlargement with new devices and its absolute
reliability, were - without doubt -, the reasons why it
has been chosen to create this new environment of AV
integrated control in L’Auditori.”, concludes Joan Anton
Llarch.
