Medialon Manager was present at the creation when the new show, "Creation: Once Upon All Time", began performances inside the famed Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California.

Founded 50 years ago by Dr. Robert H. Schuller, the Crystal Cathedral is the home base for the international Crystal Cathedral Ministries, including a congregation of over 10,000 members and the internationally-televised series, "Hour of Power". The soaring, airy Cathedral, designed by celebrated architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, features more than 10,000 windows of tempered, silver-colored glass held in place by a lace-like framework of white steel trusses.

The Medialon show control system seamlessly integrates numerous moving lights, smoke effects, confetti cannons and water misters required by the complex production which is staged in the Cathedral.  Medialon Manager’s control of the extensive lighting complement and practical effects gives a unique look and feel to a very innovative production in a breathtaking environment.

"Creation: Once Upon All Time" addresses the question ‘How did we get here?’ by telling the story of a boy and his grandfather who embark on an amazing journey where the physical and spiritual universe unfold around them. The show blends elements of live theater, CG, aerial acrobatics, puppetry, original music, light, color and sound effects.

The production features a 252x28-foot screen, the largest on the West Coast, which was installed by Electrosonic to display CG content created by Threshold Entertainment. Electrosonic also supplied seven Christie S+16 projectors and an IRIDAS Frame Cycler cinema playback system. Acoustic Dimensions of Dallas designed the Cathedral’s new multiple array audio layback system. Larry Ganson of Ganson Production in Dallas served as production manager and senior technical director for "Creation".
