Since the end of September, the musical "Les Demoiselles
de Rochefort " produces by GLEM Production is playing
every evening to the "Palais des Congrès" of Paris.
Adapted from the same named French movie, this musical,
in the line of "Romeo & Juliet" tells the history of two
twin sisters, searching for love in a France post-war
village.
Scenography is a dominating element of the show. That's
why Soft ADS with Yves Tarrit and Cosmo AV, staging
companies, use Medialon Manager show control software to
control :
2 Medialon Mpeg servers providing 12 videos channels
13 videos projectors with Shutters via IP DMX interface
1 Doremi HD server
12 of the videos projectors and MPEG servers are on
stage, controlled in TCP IP, saving meters of serial
cable. VP shutters, are controlled in DMX via a DMX on
IP interface.
Based on a travelling system, houses of Rochefort's town
can be moved on stage. Behind each window, a projector
beams, in retro, a set element of synchronous video.
During particular scenes, a shutter mask the video to
let an actor appear. Medialon Manager receives a time code of the
audio control and synchronizes the video servers, the
shutters and the Doremi according to the needs for
scenography. The controlled equipment permanently
returns information on their correct operation, helping
operators to validate the script of the show.
Both of these technical elements does "Les demoiselles
de Rochefort" as an alive show in which the decorations
take a huge important dimension.
Thanks to the efficiency and the great reliability of
Medialon technology the dream of a creator comes true
for a musical and every evening audience is happy. |
