The newly-constructed LEF Future Centre of
Rijkswaterstaat (Ministry of Traffic) has been installed
with a Medialon Manager system by Rapenburg Plaza.
The LEF Future Centre provides a meeting point for
employees and business partners to discuss and develop
innovative solutions for the major infrastructural
challenges, including traffic flow and management.
Each room of the new complex has been fitted with
wall-to-wall projection screens and data projectors that
enable the relay of bespoke projections assembled from a
variety of sources. Meanwhile, the multimedia theatre
incorporates LED walls that display ever-changing
images, creating an ambience that is said to transport
people “into a totally different world and mindset”.
The Medialon Manager system fitted by Rapenburg Plaza
provides projection and lighting effects control.
“Medialon is the ideal solution for a complicated system
like that at the LEF Future Centre,” said
Rutger Van Dijk from Rapenburg Plaza. “The Medialon system controls
a lot of different pieces of equipment, such as a
network of PCs, projectors, a Dataton Watchout system
and lighting fixtures. It is one of the few show control
systems which can manage all of those different pieces
of equipment quite easily with the use of Medialon’s
integration solutions and MxM drivers.”
Exhibition design has been made by Kossmann en de Jong,
and lighting design has been made by Arup. |
