Interactive Controls has built a powerful media and
device control system for the NGV utilising Medialon
Manager V3. The System which is spread over two sites
utilises the power of Manager to automate the transfer,
distribution and control of Interactive Macromedia
Director Content for over 60 Touch Screens, and Media
files that are used for the public display and
information systems located in and around the Gallery on
Plasma Panels and Video Walls.
The system also provides status, control and
synchronization of the audiovisual devices within the
Gallery including Barco G5 and Sony Video Projectors,
NEC Plasma Panels and Pioneer 7300 DVD Players etc.
Using Medialon Managers ability to control devices over
a standard network connection all devices and media in
phase 2 are controlled via the gallery’s in house
Gigabit network.
Due to the High turnover of Temporary Exhibitions within
the gallery, multimedia staff from the gallery have been
trained to modify and schedule the system when required. |
