From Poseidon angers until recent
underwater explorations, the exhibition “Sea, terror and
fascination” which takes place at the “Bibliothèque
Nationale de France” until January 16th 2005 testifies
to the link that exists between man imaginary
representations and scientific knowledge evolution.
Made of light areas and a wide
video projection on 3 angled screens reconstituting a
large panoramic image this exposition offers a wonderful
collection of ancient world maps , and manuscripts…
This cultural exhibition open to
the public 10h per day, 6 days per week, on several
rooms, required a stable and reliable system able to
control various devices. This is why the BNF called upon
Medialon to benefit from its Manager V3 software.
Medialon Manager V3 is used to
synchronize and control a large quantity of channels
lights and digital video sources. The application allows
automatic execution of the exhibition and the
administration of the resources for maintenance.
BNF staff which manages the
exhibition hired for Medialon programming application
Julien RIBES of Artabasa, company specialized in the
design and integration of technical solutions for the
world of events. Very experienced in show control
solutions, Artabase considers Medialon Manager V3 as "an
innovative and general-purpose powerful toolkit; the
multi-fonction pocket knife for critical technical
issues ".
